Spiritual Fitness & Living With Chronic Pain

“Father…My prayers this morning are for those who feel surrounded by their enemies…As the wicked hunters attempt to set traps for the righteous, I intercede in the name of Jesus, that all of their evil schemes be dismantled and permanently foiled…By Your armor God, protect Your chosen, guiding them in going out and when coming in…Lord, I acknowledge that our help comes from You…I praise You for Your word – because Your word is the sum of all Truth…Bless our enemies with Your just measure as Your justice and righteousness rule for everlasting…As businesses experience horrendous leadership debacles and financial devastation, continue to show Your mercy and wisdom to those who call upon Your name…For Your name is great…greatly to be praised…I thank You that You’ve already stomped Your heel on the serpent’s head…I thank You that victory comes from the head and not the tail…May Your purposes show their worthiness like refiner’s fire, whereby the souls of the elect shine with faithfulness brighter and more elegantly than all gold…Lord, I ask for Your compassion and mercy and healing for the wounded and broken hearted…Help us to comfort others by Your Spirit…May the plans of the righteous come into fruition by the submission of the human will unto Thee…Lord, be patient with us during these twisted times of multiple worldviews…God, I personally cry out for Your wisdom and salvation to pour on to this nation…We need You like someone who tries to cross the desert without water…You are our sustenance of life…Pour out springs of living water upon our parched souls…You bring forth unfathomable greatness…Forgive us of our transgressions and of our eyes for the easy things of humanism…Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil…For You rule with divine providence and underscore the meaning of love because You are love…Thank You for the day ahead…Help me to walk each minute of each hour with You in mind…Bless You Father, Son and Spirit…Amen…”

“Heavenly Father…

I call you by the strength and stability of Your name today…Throughout this weekend I experienced short blasts of fear…Lord, it was like the fear came upon me; I didn’t just create havoc from my own imaginations…’Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a level path because of my foes.  Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries…’I thank you that this walk of faith brings me closer to Your reality…Your voice is truly powerful…When I look into the morning sunrise, I wonder at Your creative beauty.  Since Jake is pondering about You at the beach, I can’t help but to think about how Your voice crosses over the tops of the water.  You’re everywhere, sovereign in Your providence of mankind and creation…Lord, forgive this nation for turning its back on You so flippantly and often.  I personally cry out to You for Your forgiveness of our nation that is stubborn in materialism and power and arrogance…’For there is no authority except from God’…and I pray for wisdom and understanding to penetrate the heart and mind of President Obama…Teach our leadership about righteousness and may Your Spirit guide those who have the authority to make national and international decisions to do so with You as the head…Lord, we’re desperate for You…For those who believe, we long to see Your face…For those who don’t believe…teach all who have been called to evangelism, to speak Your truth in love, abandoning any tone of judgment or self-righteousness…May our hearts be consecrated by the blood of Your grace…In the name of Jesus…Continue to show us mercy and compassion while we sort out this new way to live by faith…I sense today with You that time is drawing near…Continue to guide us in the preparation of Your house…Gird us in Your strength for the final day of salvation…Protect those who are defenseless…And give us discernment by Your Holy Spirit.  It is the desire not to cause anyone to stumble because of our judgmental interpretation of Your Holiness…Thank you for the opportunity to spend time with You, the Holy One…In the name of the Almighty, bless all who desire to pray more and who are willing to fully surrender to You…

“From my heart I sing praises of You…Father, Spirit, Son…

Father…In these moments of reflection with You…I literally put myself out there to partake in the trust You’ve provided me…Lord, though I grow in grace, the enemy of fear attacks wildly against the core of my being…Being naked, vulnerable and exposed from the inside seems to guide my anxieties in the wrong direction…Lord, this morning I give You my broken and contrite heart…the sanctifying process of salvation…the hidden things that try to reap havoc within my integrity of Your righteousness…God – thank you for Your holiness and standard of perfection…I confess my own sense of pride against the weaker who experience lesser trials…In the name of Jesus, I give You this haughty spirit…Continue to work through me by Your Holy Spirit…May Your resurrection life geometrically bless those who come to repentance and belief…Lord, I pray for those who experience pain and waver in faith…Give me words of truth to speak and write to dispel false beliefs for those who are dull and stubborn about anything eternal…This morning, I praise You for calmness in the midst of the storm…I openly confess my insecurities, knowing Your grace sufficiently equips me for the mission ahead…Heavenly Father, I’m sorry if I ever put You in a box that might disfigure Your character and limit the infinite possibilities of Your loving character…Forgive me for my times of doubt…As I trek through this journey of open prayer, please teach me how to pray even more effectively for the orphans, widows, poor and afflicted…Keep my steps held in place to Your paths…In the name of Your Son, grant protection over my two sons, and my beautiful wife…Gird Cherise with Your presence today and bless the family business with richness of the new life, as well as with the provision of heaven…Only You supply what we need most…what is nutritious for our entire beings…

Today is blessed because of You…By Your Son’s death and life from the cross, I surrender to You…Amen…”

“Heavenly Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…

In this solemn place I praise You for Who You are…Great in Mercy…Faithful always, extending abundant pardon to everyone who calls upon Your holy name…Father…I have a prayer request to submit to you through the faithful access of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Who sits on the right hand throne…In His almighty, powerful, yet humble Name, I confidently ask for this journey of faith about chronic pain to be anointed by Your Spirit…Ultimately make known its purpose through sanctification and glory to You…Father, through obedience of grace, strengthen me with compassionate understanding and words of inspirational encouragement…Please direct my footsteps with fortified peace…In the name of Jesus, I declare the beauty of Your healing power…Without question of doubt, I desire to speak the truth about Your magnificence and Your eternal paradise…Lord, please assist me about the navigation of the inner human soul toward redemption…Tonight, my heart rejoices with enthusiasm regarding the reality of Your presence…Everything seems okay even in the midst of deception and downfall…I submit myself as a servant to this entrepreneurial endeavor for the congregation of the elect…Thank you for everything…May the blood of Your Son be sprinkled over my life, my families and everyone I come in contact with, sanctifying them in reverent holiness and respect for Your unfathomable love…Breathe life into areas of death…Bring comfort for those who are grossly afflicted…Show the awesomeness of freedom from the mention of Jesus Christ…Lord…I end with a few intimate words which describe my tears of love for You…These describe my times of testing and also express the victory You have over the enemy of darkness…With deliberate intention…I express my thankfulness of faith about how You create salvation within the human soul to make us a part of an everlasting kingdom…Teach all of us, with grace and mercy, how to walk by faith and how to embrace this new life, on earth and in heaven…
